Welcome to the Arden Forest MAT,
We currently have over 300 staff across our sites and our Central Team in a wide variety of careers from teaching staff to administration personnel to caretaking professionals. We pride ourselves on having a happy team across all schools and ensure that all staff ensure our vison of 'Inspiring educational excellence for all' as well making sure that we live that through our values of Collaboration, Respect, Inspiration and Nurture,
The advantages of working within the Arden Forest MAT are;
- The ability to collaborate with your peers across a number of schools, for example staff have the opportunity to take part in in our Leadership Capacity Meetings to share best practice in key areas such as the curriculum, SEN, and EYFS. This also covers our admin teams and our Heads/Heads of School to name a few.
- The MAT arranges for CPD opportunities for all roles across the MAT through subscriptions to providers such as Gateway Alliance or Flick Learning. Recently we ensured that all our Caretakers came together for shared training on key items such as COSHH and Manual Handling.
- Our vacancies are advertised internally first giving the opportunity for promotion within the MAT, which helps us to retain talent and develop staff.
- More schools within the MAT means more potential for career advancement and flexibility over how to fill vacancies.
- Access to other learning communities through our membership of three of our local school consortia.
- Shared policies across the MAT leading to a consistency in our approach to key areas such as behaviour, safeguarding and pay.
- A strong focus on pupil and staff wellbeing. This can be seen through our adherence to the Thrive approach to wellbeing and mental health.
